This event hosted by the Rotary Club of Greenfield has raised well over a half million dollars in the past 19 years. In conjunction with central Indiana Rotary District 6560 nearly 300 children with life threatening medical conditions have been treated. Some children from countries with limited or no access to appropriate medical facilities are brought to the United States for surgery at Riley Hospital for Children. Additionally, Rotary's Gift of Life program supports Medical Training Teams that travel overseas to treat multiple children each trip. These teams perform life saving surgeries AND provide skills and other medical procedures training in order to enable surgeries to be performed by local surgeons and nurses.
Event Co-chairs, Rotarians Sara Joyner and Monica Kowaleski, welcome community organizations and individuals to join with Rotary to "help save a life" by donating or participating in this worthy cause.
- Cash contributions can be made payable to "Rotary District 6560 Foundation" with a memo entry "Gift of Life". These donations can be sent to the Greenfield Rotary Treasurer, P.O. Box 1, Greenfield, IN 46140
- Donations to be used as auction items can be sent to Sara Joyner or Monica Kowaleski. You may reach them at 317.507.3607 or 317.402.0222 respectively or at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com. Rotary respectfully requests that any gifts to be auctioned have a value of at least $25. Preferred deadline for donations is February 1, 2020.
